Hello, I need a modified bios that will allow FX 6300 support for the board: Asus M4N68T REV. 1.03G. thanks in advance for any help…
I don’t think it’s just a bios mod ,different socket ?? .,.old mobo + power hungry FX cpu
The asrock n68c-gs fx allows fx 6300, and it’s the same chipset…

AM3+ is spec
yours is AM3 .,.I think the pins were different
AM3+ - old cpu works …,AM3 - FX not

Nonetheless, I would like to try bios ammonification, as with intel LGA 775 and XEON…
try first verify this

edit “full web” AM3 vs AM3+

So is it not possible to do this?I checked and my 6300 fits in the sockets…
I think only boards with a stronger chipset later received bios to activate this cpu
does your cpu normally fit into this board? …don’t break this new FX pin "picture above"
what does your cpu and this pin look like?
unfortunately I do not know ,.,try waiting for more answers
,.,for flash I recommend a full backup “hwprogramer”
Never saw such mode in this generation of motherboards AM3, no support from NVidia 630 chipset, even with mcode insertion, AGESA wont allow it.
Dont wreck the FX CPU, AM3+ boards are cheap and many around used.
This processor fits perfectly in the socket, I have it from recycled and I just wanted to see if it works, maybe then I would think about buying the right board, and I came up with this idea because as I wrote that there is a board from Asrock that has the same chipset and allows FX CPU…
