Hi all,
I own a HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Desktop-Mini-PC (65 W).
It has an Intel Core i7-6700 CPU and 2x 8GB Samsung DDR4-3200 RAM (M471A1K43DB1-CWE).
The UEFI BIOS of this PC only has few options. None for memory clocks and timings.
The maximum RAM frequency the board allows is DDR4-2133 = 1066 MHz.
Even the PC is an old one, the BIOS is rather new from this year August 26th.
My question: Might there be a chance to make a BIOS mod to raise the RAM multiplier to 16 (currently 10.66) to allow full 1600 MHz without influencing the CPU base clock (99-100 MHz).
BIOS from original HP download page is attached.
Thanks for comments.
