Modified BIOS for Acer V3-772G BIOS Advanced Menu

Here is many software versions, please try 1.18 and 1.30. Dump both BIOS chips, one is 2MB one is 4MB, I need both, dumped from programmer. You already sent 2MB dump above at post #18, now I just need the 4MB dumped with programmer.

I did it when I was randomly changing the socket direction!
I thought it was shorted because the programming device was overheating, but I found the right connection and took the backup.

@atmacaati74 - what version software did you use to dump that? What is the chip ID? That is a corrupted dump, do again with newer software version and or try BV instead of FV if you already did with 1.30 or 1.34
Or, also try 1.18 software. Maybe do all six for me, 1.18, 1.30, 1.34 with 25Q32FV x3 (1 each version) and then x3 more (1 each version) using 25Q32BV

Chip ID is in the form of $ff , $FF, $ff, $FF but different in each version. Here are all the samples I can get with all the versions I have.

Hello, can you help?
I am doing my best :/.

Could the programming be due to the thick test cable? Maybe I should take the chip off and try it out?

What you mentioned above, about the chip ID, that should always be same, on same chip.
I don’t know what’s going on here anymore, all these posts are old, and you didn’t’ answer any of my questions above from Sept. So this thread did not help with your PM question either.

I need answers and info, I don’t know what you’re doing with what etc. Plus, you only provided one chip dump in PM, need both chips dumped at same time.
Dump you sent is corrupted as well. What is the 4MB BIOS ID, and what is the 2MB BIOS ID? Look with your eyes, not software, use flashlight and magnifying glass if you have to.
Also, in software, it will tell you the name/ID, not just the $f, $$F type ID. But, I do prefer for you to read off the ID on the chip itself, since software detection is not always correct.

Chip ID has now tried and dismantled the same chip in all versions. All I had to do was rip out the chip. Here are the backups and a photo I took of all versions of the programmer.

@atmacaati74 :
Please change the language of your chosen thread title by editing the title of the start post.
This is a "pure" English language Forum and all visitors should be able to understand, which topic is meant by reading the thread title.

I did everything you said.everything’s ready. My FTP backup, my 2MB EC backup and my 4MB main bios backup are ready. As you said, I made a backup of the main bios chip using all versions.

@Lost_N_BIOS

@atmacaati74 - If you removed the chip from the board, you probably didn’t need to make backup/dumps of it with all versions, I only mentioned what I did to try and help you get past the issue you were having (and I never said dump with all versions)
Hopefully your dumps are OK now As for your image above, sorry, I don’t know what you are meaning to show me there, it’s nothing I needed to see, so not sure why you show that image?

I cannot download from the site you used, I tried 3 different browsers (also tried w/ a proxy too) and nothing ever happens when I press button, it only restarts timer Then finally, after trying for 10 minutes, the site only gave Database error, and would not reload
Can you upload to one of these sites? https://uploadfiles.io/ Or http://tinyupload.com/

Also, please fix your title as asked by Fernando above, thank you

@atmacaati74 - All programmer dumps are corrupted, so we cannot move forward until this does not happen (otherwise all writes will also fail).
Please try again with ASProgrammer instead, dump both chips and send me ONLY those files (You keep sending me way too many files, very confusing)

You still have not told me what each chip ID is, of BOTH chips, please do this now!!
That way if there is a known version or ID you should use instead of exact one I can tell you, this may be only reason general CH341A software is failing to dump correctly.
You may only need to write to the 4MB BIOS chip with programmer so that is main goal, unless you want unlocked FD too (This is on the 2MB chip), so it’s easier to write with FPT to any region.

Device ID: $15, Unique ID: D663A05022146113, Memory Type: $40, Memory Capacity: $16, Manufacture ID: $EF, Memory Name: W25Q32FV
I assume that’s what you were asking? @Lost_N_BIOS

That is not BIOS chip, that is the FD/ME chip (due to 32 in ID), main BIOS chip will have 64 in ID
I need ID written on the chips themselves (look with your eyes and magnifying glass + Flashlight if need be, do not want ID given to you from software

This is what I’m after, written on the chips >> W25Q32FV << ID looks similar to that on both chips, please check each chip physically with your eyes and give me the ID off both that looks similar to that

Anyway, as mentioned, please dump both chips again (And only) with ASProgrammer instead while we wait on ID confirmations. Send me those two files only.

@atmacaati74 - Thanks - Looks like you missed a chip still, I see
W25Q16DV (Probably EC/KBC) << We don’t touch this
W25Q32FV (FD/ME) << This one OK with general CH341A software and exact ID
We are missing BIOS region chip, one with “64” in it’s ID
