"modified" QQLS (i9-9980HK FCBGA 1440) on LGA1151 motherboards

Does anyone here know if these modified CPUs would work on a B360 board (Asus STRIX B360-I) that already supports i9-9900K?

The vendor for these gives the following chipset compatibility:

Supported: H110, B150, Q150, Q170, H170, Z170, C232, C236, B250, Q270, H270, Z270, H310C, B365, Z370 (varies by board)

Unsupported: Z390, H370, B360, H310

Any idea what the factor might be and if could it be solved with Coffeetime microcodes? I could see how some of the H and B boards from 300 series woudn’t work, but even the Z390 supposedly won’t?

@vinnyoflegend It will not work on the B360 as it is a 14nm chipset with ME v12.

The chipsets in the supported list are 22nm with ME v11.
