I’m looking to patch my ACPI tables to add support for windows XP
I’ve grabbed my motherboards latest BIOS here - https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%2…/index.asp#BIOS
So to get started - I need to use UEFItool to extract ACPI module and then use iasl to disassemble for editing?
is this correct?
I’ve also heard that a bootloader named clover can modify ACPI tables at boot without needing to mod BIOS - would it be easier to use clover? or should I focus on modding BIOS?
