MSI 970A-G43 update AGESA, how?

Hi,

with latest version of UBU is it not possible to update the AGESA OrochiPI code (in bios file v1.5.0.4). UBU show the version only.
I can update all other rom modules but not the AGESA.

How can I update the AGESA and what is the latest version and where can I download?

[Update]: I updates the MSI-970A-G43 right now.
MCE ist latest and show all OK.

But the checksum is wrong now. I used HxD to replace the CPU-Microcodes.
How can I update the checksum now?
I attached modded BIOS for this mainboard.

Update 2: - I made it and tested it. My modified bios with ubu 1.95.5 with all current AMD-Microcodes worked very well since days. I uploaded it. I lease AGESA to 1.5.0.4 and updates the microcodes only. Have fun.

Hi,

I found now all current CPUMicroCodes and check it with MCE. It is now always Latest. :slight_smile:
My question, I have AGESA v1.5.0.4 in original, worked the latest CPU-MicroCodes with this AGESA Version?

Does the new CPUMicroCodes add new cpu´s support too?

Wooops, found newer here while verifying if only the AMDAgesaDXEDriver and microcodes needed updated, of it there is some other Agesa module

Seems like updating Agesa is not easy, due to many connected file. If you find easy known working method let me know, since updating only ADMAgesaDXEDriver via MMTool or other method does not properly update this like we want.
