I currently have a problem with the motherboard, that won’t let me make any changes to any BIOS setting, and in order to try to fix it, I made a Coffee Lake compatible BIOS, to attempt to make changes to the BIOS using an i3 8100, it still didn’t work, but the CPU did work, with close to no problems, it works well, and stable on windows, but the voltage may be bad, as it was a bit warmer than usual, the iGPU voltage was also bad, not even being able to correctly reading it, and I wasn’t able to patch PCIe, but with more experience, and a bit of pacience, you should be able to get there.
I modifiled the motherboard’s first released BIOS, as the NOC beta runner option was still around and I wanted to see if I could break it, in order to do a non-k oc, but with my current problems, I am not able to test it. If needed, I can try to make the same mod, but with a more updated BIOS revision, hope you have fun, and as always, be careful, just because it worked on me, it may not work on you, make sure you have a BIOS programmer, and/or the required tools to fix the motherboard if you end up having a bad flash, and you brick it.
