Hello, I have a new ASUS UX580GE laptop that unfortunately can not exploit all its performance while the processor is unlocked 8950HK. I documented and I saw with the AMICP tool that there is plenty of option in my Bios, but I have never flashed a Bios and I would not want to brick the computer because I am a beginner.
Do you think it is possible to activate the menu Advanced with this Bios, or it is not advisable?

@CEH - What is it on that page you wanted changed, looks like the good settings are enabled already by default (What you see is the applied settings on right side after you load optimal settings)
Or did you want something there disabled? It’s much easier to disable or enable settings, than it is to make the menus visible to you in the BIOS. If you simply need to change the settings, change setting value in optimal column, then save and flash BIOS

These changes can also be done via grub using Setup_Var as outlined in the guide above, but you need to find each setting you want to change in the setup IFR, see it’s default value, then change to the other value you want instead (Same way you change “BIOS Lock” using guide above)

I’m doing 3D renderings and I’m frustrated to see my processor drop in frequency after 28s of “power boost” while the thermal limit is not reached … I tested many parameters in “XTU and Throttle Stop” but nothing makes it, after 28s the processor is limited to 50w for a temperature of 75 ° / limit 96 ° and frequency 3450Mhz … So why buy a 8950HK!
I’m going to look at what you sent me, it gives me the hope to remove this limit!
Which setting/settings exactly, I don’t see a 28s limit there.
I can show you how to change without a BIOS mod, then you can see if it works for you or not. If it does work, then you can leave as is, or I can try to make a BIOS mod for you to make that entire page visible.
Or you can make BIOS changes with AMIBCP and test flash too, using methods I linked above.
