Hello, I hope everyone is well. I apologize for my English and also for my lack of experience with computers. I bought an Acer Nitro 5 515-55 with an RTX 2060, 16GB RAM, and 512GB NVMe, but it overheats a lot, and the performance is very low. I had a 1050Ti before that was much better and heated less. Knowing this, I looked for solutions and found on the forum about advanced BIOS. So, I downloaded the BIOS from the same model as mine, even though it’s not recommended to do so. In the end, I think it worked because now when the notebook starts, it shows “Predator” before “ACER.” I would like to know if this is okay and which options in the advanced BIOS I could change to reduce temperature and increase performance! One more quick question: I read reports from people who increased performance by adding a SATA 3 SSD, among other things, as being in “RAID” is affecting performance due to having only one HDD. Could it make a difference if I install one?
