I’m not talking about the splash screen that you get at bootup, but instead the BIOS’ background itself. I have tried multiple different utilities, but every app was only able to extract the splash screen of the bios, or just different icons. I have already figured out that it’s an AMI Aptio V BIOS, but other background extraction tutorials are also fine, but I prefer to extract from an AMI Aptio V BIOS.
I tried that utility and some of the folders that it extracted got deleted immediately, and the ones that didn’t get deleted didn’t include the BIOS’ background image, only the BIOS icons and splash screen. While I had some varying success extracting the background from some older motherboard BIOSes (even though the GUI is in the way, I thought the interface and background would be seperate), every tool I used has failed to extracted the alternative background option of the BIOS which I want to extract.
The background pic may have jpeg or other format. One of the ways to find it is to look for file signature.
Unfortunately, I haven’t found it, even after combing through multiple file signatures, I did manage to find some icons that the utilities couldn’t extract. I could go on more, but it would take a while.
For more context, the B650-A, Z690-A and Z790-A (all Strix models) have multiple themes, and I’m trying to preferably extract both backgrounds that appear in the BIOS, not just their splash screen.
In addition (for Z790-A strix)

So the person above me found one of the GUID patterns which contained the image I wanted, but I also noticed that yours is different. So does the BIOS seperate themes into multiple GUIDs?
Out of curiousity, I tried the same GUIDs on another one of the BIOSes from another motherboard which is similarly based, I noticed that the theme is hidden under the same GUID in multiple motherboard’s BIOS files.
Tested on B650-A (once again)
