Datasheet for EC is attached.
Wanted to find out what hardware/software I might need to do this so I can start rounding it up.
Would like to dump EC contents first to ensure backup of currently working unit before anything gets messed with.
There are 2 un-used ribbon cable headers near my EC chip on the mobo that I believe the OEM has mentioned are used to program the boards at the factory, but I haven’t got much more than that to go off of.
The 1st ribbon header is 10 pins and appears to have obvious traces to the QFP EC package.
The 2nd ribbon header is 12 pins, not sure what it goes to.
