I spent over 5 hours reading this forum and it’s insane how much information and skilled people are on board.
I think I got it all down and just need to wait for the programmer to arrive but I want to double check.
Should I install BIOS updates before/after the modification ? Or not at all ? (there is one from january 2022, which also updates intel me)
Hardware/Software Info:
i5 10500t / Q470 chipset, comes with standard manageability configured.
ME Version: 14.0.47.1482 H Corporate
OEM Public Key is SET (FPF/UEP/ME FW)
Steps I would do:
use hwinfo to find out intel me version
mine is ME Version: 14.0.47.1482 H Corporate
MEI Drivers and Software v2201.16.0.2645 (Windows 10 >= 1709)
download CSME System Tools v14.0.20+ r18
fully dump chip with programmer
clean the dump following D4. CSME 11 - 15 from Guide-Clean-Dumped-Intel-Engine-CS-ME-CS-TXE-Regions-with-Data-Initialization
flash chip with programmer, cross fingers
