You’re welcome @LostMC - please report back and let us know how BIOS runs, and if FX-8350 works or not too
Ok! Thank you very much!!!
The bios-modified Mr. Lost_N_BIOS was successfully flashed into the motherboard. Mobo stable works. Within 1 month I will receive my FH 8350 and install it. On the progress in achieving your goal in this thread of the forum. Thank you very much!
You’re welcome, and thanks to you too @LostMC - Yes, please update again once you have the 8350 CPU so we can know if it works on that model or not
ASRock M3A785GXH/128M is an AM3 board. It has no official support for the FX-8350 (AM3+).

We are the unofficial solution Yes, I don’t know about if it’s possible or not, I only mod BIOS, I don’t use AMD or keep up with which CPU’s can run on which boards.
So you think it doesn’t work? If not, then @LostMC don’t waste your time if @MiesMosel says that CPU isn’t going to work then it wont work, he knows AMD much more than I do
I hope that now, such support will appear! Thanks mr.Lost_N_BIOS
No … Mabe, maybe not.
There’s less Chance for working.
AM3 socket has 941 contacts & AM3 cpu (incl. Phenom II) → 938.
AM3+ socket has 942 contacts & AM3+ cpu (FX-Bulldozer) → 940.
You could brick your board or/and destroy your cpu or more.
The FX-8350 needs a lot of current more than the Phenom II.
Only to update the microcode will not give you support.
*** But you could try, if you don’t worry about it. *
If so, please give us feedback of your experience! **
I thought the white socket didn’t look right , but I knew they updated those and sometimes some white could still work with some that also fit black socket. Or is that wrong, only some before block socket could fit others AM2/AM2+?
hmm …
