Hi all! I’m having a little trouble with some bios upgrading.
After a bad flashing my laptop is not booting anymore.
I’m trying to recover it with a ch341a programmer but i’m running into a problem.
The bios downloaded from ASUS is strange. Inside the aptio capsule there is not “Intel image” but “UEFI Image”.
If i try to open either it or the ch341a backupped rom file with fd44 editor it says: “ERROR parsing BIOS data. $BOOTEFI$ signature not found”.
How do i check if the uefi bios chip is corrupted or maybe it’s the motherboard which is gone?
is it possible to recover??
