Nvidia Quadro 474.44 w7 driver fails

Hi, I have a w7 production box and Quadro P1000 on driver 441.66. Nvidia has posted driver 474.44 but this fails to install. I’m only interested in the driver, no additional “features”. Any patch for this please? Thank you

Install 474.44-quadro-rtx-winserv-2012r2-64bit-international-whql
Monitors turn off during installation
Forced to reboot
Windows reverts to the default driver
Find the extracted nvidia driver
C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\474.44\Win8_Win7_64\International
Fails to update via device manager also
Reinstall 441.66-quadro-desktop-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql

You have a Nvidia Pascal GPU. The latest driver for Windows 7 is 441.66
The driver 474.44 that you are downloading is for server 2012R2 (windows 8.1). That will not work.
If it’s a production device, do not attempt to mod anything.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m aware the filename states r2, though the driver is compatible with the card, and supports installation on w7, and features w7 in the extracted driver.

So, Nvidia supports RTX cards with 474.44 on w7, and Quadro cards with 474.44 on r2, but abandons enterprise specifically on w7? Surely there’s a patch…
