Added the Maximus VIII Impact 1701 modded bios to the google drive folder. 
Asus Maximus VIII Hero 1701 don’t work for me 
Not proper bios in EZFlash

If you want to flash a modded ASUS mainboard BIOS, you have to use the USB Flashback feature.

When you enter the BIOS and check Iintel network inside the bios you will find that
WOL box shows that its unvailible
so it says N/A for the Wake-On-Lan box.
Even if i set the settings in windows device manager it wont work

Okay I flashed this but my ethernet stopped working. It gives me Code 10 (Device cannot start) in device manager.
The device is Intel Ethernet Connection I219-V
Try to reflash the original (not modded) one. It could be the MEI firmware or the LAN option ROM.
No it didn’t work. The MEI Firmware stays always the same new one. Is there any way to downgrade it?

If it does not downgrade, the only thing you can do is to use an external SPI Flash Eeprom programmer for reflash the whole bios image.

Tried it, it gave me this:
Error 8758: The image provided is not supported by the platform
Try this alternative FPT flasher.
If it reports Error 26, then you’ve the Descriptor Region locked and you can downgrade only using an external EEprom SPI Flash programmer.

Do i actually have to clear CMOS after flashing modded BIOS?
Okay now it said:
Error 451: The host CPU does not have write access to the target flash area. To enable write access for this operation you must modify the descriptor settings to give host access to this region. FPT Operation Failed.
Doesn’t look good.
