First of all, I thank Fernando and other gurus, with their help my old computer got a second life.
I have successfully modified the BIOS for the ASUS P8Z77-V LE motherboard according to the instructions. I took the file “P8Z77-V-LE-ASUS-1104.CAP” with the latest (1104) BIOS version from the ASUS website. Using UEFITool, I extracted the ROM from the capsule, added the NvmExpressDxe_5.ffs module, and placed the ROM inside the capsule. The resulting file with the modified BIOS was renamed to “P8Z77VLE.CAP”. I flashed the motherboard using a USB Flashback.
