Here is the modded bios v1208 for the Asus P9X79 WS/IPMI motherboards. This has been verified to boot from Kingston KC1000 480GB NVMe and a WD Black 512GB NVME. I used the method of flashing from the AI Suite within Windows, way easier for me since there was no information regarding naming my CAP file for flashback on these boards. See Fernando’s post about flashing modded bios and look for Asus “Without USB flashback” and you will see what i am talking about. I included the modded and un-modded verisons since you cannot find this on the Asus support site (this is an OEM motherboard). My thanks to Fernando for his assistance with my earlier modding.

I am having real trouble flashing this. Did anyone have any success with the Modded ?

Edit: Figured it out. This board has a few more jumpers and no manual to help. So if you do want to flash this BIOS you need to rename it "P9X79WSI.cap". Got a Toshiba NVMe to work.

Now I just need to figure out how disable this chassis intrude and remove an aitweaker password,
