How To Enable Resizable Bar
Normal Resizable Bar: Use ReBarSate from here, And Run as Admin.
Nvidia Turing (GTX 1600/RTX 2000): Use this, And Run as Admin.
You need to enable Above 4G Decoding for Resizable Bar and Disable CSM/Legacy (boot to UEFI only). To enable it, go to bios → Boot → Above 4G Decoding and enable it.
Can you help me? I’m trying it with an ASUS Z97M-PLUS motherboard and I can’t get it to work REBARUEFI with a 3060Ti. If I disable CSM it won’t boot (1 and 3 short beeps), and if I don’t enable it, it boots but I can’t access the BIOS and it’s slow in games…
Edit: @Koekieezz helped me and he compiled a new BIOS with an old module of mvramsmi.ffs and rebarUEFI works perfectly.
i succeeded flashing this bios on my Z97-a (rev. a) motherboard using the “AfuWinx64” version 3.05.04. After enabling ‘Above 4G encoding, disabling ‘csm support’ and rebooting, i tried using the nvStrapRebar (my gpu is the RTX2080 OC) and going for target ‘13’ (8gb). After saving and exiting, i verified with gpu-z and i can see that rebar is disabled still.
@my03 Run nvstrapsrebar (use release 0.4-rc1, since the module i use is v0.4-rc1) as admin, press E, press P, enter value 32 and enter, press S, and reboot.
Check Device Manager → View → Resource by type → Large memory → see if your gpu is listed there.
while this bios works absolutely great, i wanted to ask you if you have seen/recognize this bios bootup message that a drive shows a S.M.A.R.T. error during bootup (where vendor software in W11 will say that there are no issues with it at all).
In my case, i run a 4TB SSD drive that the bios tells me is in a bad shape where Samsung Magician claims it to be quite healthy (?)
I reflashed the latest (non-beta) bios and i did not see this message any more at bootup. I also run various tests with powershell + chrystaldiskmark (smart) test and this 4tb drive seems to be the healthiest of them all in my case at 99% (have a 2tb at 97% and 120gb at 93% as well).
Its not very severe for me to have this small issue as i can just klick 2 keys and be on my way (because when booted, its working absolutely great :-)). I just wanted to give some heads up about it.
