[OFFER] Biostar X370GT7 modified UEFI

But when they hide this option by default, makes no sense to include multipler versions/GUID’s… I guess that explains it though, makes no sense so that’s how it should be done

@ket can you pm me the zip archive password? tks

@evesiveo PM sent.

@ket
Hello! Can you give me password?
Thanks

any plans to mod GT8?

@shenosuke - Lack of friendly support and enthusiasm from Biostar has turned him away from these I believe.

i understand… seems that biostar do not care about their customers.
my issues with GT8 are so many that i can make a list

-misreading PSU rail voltages.
-audio popping, (the biggest issue at this moment), maybe can be caused by my dual rank ram that is not on QVL of this mobo. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yygqdaj3BJo , this video can show what is happening)
-550mhz cpu clock after wake up from sleep/hibernate.
-normally after power outages, pc cant boot until i full clear cmos, sometimes i need reflash bios because even cleaning cmos i have some freezes in games.
- bios get corrupted like 2x without me doing anything.
-long POST time

@Lost_N_BIOS Can i have the password for the file: Biostar X370 GT7 firmware @win-raid R3.7z

My System: Ryzen 2400g RavenRidge, G.Skill 2933 Hynix/Hyundai F4-3000C16-8GISB, X370 GT7 (most difficult BIOS-Board i ever had)
I will post what i can reach with APU/CPU and RAM ofc. Thank you very much in advance!

@shenosuke Nope, none at all. Biostar are the biggest trash I have ever had the unfortunate circumstances to encounter their R&D / support team is bloody braindead. Even Gigabyte are better than this and THAT is saying something.

Damn @ket tell us how you really feel! Maybe they will read that and considering being more helpful, open to taking in advice, and be more friendly

@ket please send me the Password for the bios rar Archive.

thanks!!!

regards

seems that biostar launched new bios for GT7, but nothing for GT8.

The new bios for GT7 is a buggy mess. It is very choppy, they haven’t updated the AGESA to 1.0.0.6PinnaclePi and the worst of all, I can’t get the BIOS to show up on my monitor after the initial CMOS reset. Everytime I want to change a setting I have to reset the CMOS so that I can get into the BIOS lol.

@ket @Lost_N_BIOS don’t bother with the newly released BIOS it’s the worst piece of software I have ever laid my eyes on.

Have Biostar even done anything worthwhile with the new firmware? I’m not missing the GT7 at all, good hardware, terrible firmware.

Hello from a Biostar X370GTN user, would it be possible if someone could port this GT7 bios to the GTN (X370GTN, mini-ITX) board? I am struggling to enjoy using it at all with a 2600X. I got a decent air cooler, b-die CL14 3200Mhz RAM and even a UEFI 1080ti. The bios is just annoying and killing me so far with the work on Pinnacle ridge, and i am not planning to change the board for a while, i could use some help, because obviously i can’t flash this GT7 onto the GTN (i have bricked a few due to my GPU dying on me during a bios update, now i am capable to flash the bios.) Thanks.

@ket ^^ you, or me? I assume swap-in, but didn’t check right now.

@Lost_N_BIOS I haven’t looked at the GTN at all, won’t have time to for at least a week or so either so probably you.

@mt441pl - please zip and attach that stock X370GTN BIOS X37AK807.BSS, I can’t find any download links

Here you are!

biosupdate.zip (5.12 MB)

Thanks @Lotoss - how do you download BIOS from them now?
