even 3600mhz should be no problem whatsoever on any xmp 3466 kit with this board and a 2700x
Someone over on the corsair forums is putting together some software that allows all the 6 rgb zones to be controlled by corsair Icue for game profiles and launches of any exe file
Gigabyte always letting anyone do their work
Lol, but nah being serious like, i instantly noticed performance gains going from the crappy gaming5 to this, even the m.2 drive runs nearly 30mb/sec faster, marvellous init. my cameras battery is broke or id show you a pic of my system and what ive done, it looks so friggin nice in my thermaltake tower900 case with this motherboard, fitted 2 screens in the case, an lcdsmartie screen for system stats and a 5" colour lcd mirroring everything thats on the main monitor, basically i can switch my big screen off and monitor everything from the pc case
Also the wifi card on the gaming7 wifi properly supports mirracast without any issues whatsoever, so sometimes i piss the mrs off by transmitting youtube to the tv when shes watching it lol, this is something i could never get working properly on the x370 boards for some reason
Thing is theyve had to listen to the end users with all the daft problems their x370 boards gave, Gigabyte was my weapon of choice in the days of the Athlon XP 3200+ they were the best boards for amd back then, that little 2.2ghz chip way outperformed the pentium4 at 3ghz, ahh those were the days.
Seems they aināt any good with Intel systems too nowadays. Hope they learn
Intel deserve to drown in their own sick, their new line of cpus are just effing awful, 2 days ago i tried the 6950x thinking it was the ryzen killer like everyone said on youtube, damn so wrong, not even close, ant it runs mega hot due to the shitty TIM material they use. I honestly believe intel are close to being finished for home users, and their cpus have a ton of security vulnerabilities, not good, not good at all.
Yeah. Expensive af and 0 cares about customer. Thatās why I came team red. And stayed for the awesome ratio price performance and innovation
AMD dont waste millions on stupid advertising passing the savings on to the end user, intel and apple deserve eachother, both overrated. Steve jobs actually preffered AMD but AMD wouldnt let him have the market share because they knew he was a greedy cunt and would have destroyed everything
Indeed. Canāt wait for CES to throw the middle finger to Nvidia too long term. 1080ti is pretty good by nowadays standards. But when it gets old Iām getting ATI hopefully they have their shit figured out by then
Ooooh yes indeed, these 3 companies apple, intel and nvidia are the bane of the enthusiast pc community, theres only 1 thing they care about and thats money. Still, i find it hilarious that 2 x rx480 in crossfire will beat a 1080 for half the price, now that really is funny. and of course the gaming7 wifi can run 3 of these, 2 of them destroy a 1080 in nearly everything so 3 will piss on it

I was about to buy a 2080ti and I thought. Uhmm that smells fishy and grabbed one discounted 1080ti for half the 2080ti price. Best choice ever got lucky 2 cause they have been out of stock almost everywhere
Good man, the 2080 is a card that shouldnt exist in my eyes, bloody pointless
@POE_UK donāt be like that! IT JUST WORKS AT VERY LOW FPS on the HANDFULL of games that āuse itā
Nvidia, i dont know what drugs you are taking, but they aint working wtf are you thinking! they are trying to fill a gap in the market that will never exist, what a bunch of muppets. As i say, in it for the money not the end user, intel are just as bad though keep releasing cpus with tiny performance gains over their current line, for Ā£100 more, ryzen has given this joker company a good kick up the arse.
Yea "it just works" or not, so it seems, haha.
Ket,
I flashed to the latest bios for the Ax370 K3 and am now getting a boot failure at start up. If I save and exit the bios at start up it boots just fine. I am not sure if there were changes to the settings in the latest update, but the prior bios worked with some minor tweaks. I have a 1700 CPU, G Skill trident RAM, b die. CPU @ 3.5 ghz, RAM @ 3200 with XMP profile. RAM @ 1.35v. Everything else is set to Auto or as best as I remember.
Would using DRAM calculator be of any help to resolve this issue. Any help is appreciated. I highly doubt that any of my components are causing the issue. Is there a link to the previous bios that you modded?
Thanks,
MAK
@racerxnet check your boot options I tweaked them a bit for a faster boot, you likely just have to reorder the boot order.
