can someone have a look to this plase ? this is all german and i dont have idea. but sems really recent
What are we to look at?
i thought was a newer release, but it’s just a mac mod…
I flashed the BIOS, everything went fine. Afterwards I went into the BIOS and it finds my SSD, but it says the SATA ports are empty for my HDD and optical drives. I setup BIOS just as I had it before. Also tried loading optimized defaults.
Flashing back to the stock F11a, my drives show up. Do you know what the issue could be? Thanks for the help!
@ImpetuousRacer - You must follow this guide, all steps mentioned in spoiler step #4
[Guide] How to get full NVMe support for all Systems with an AMI UEFI BIOS
I’m not at the point of installing the PCIE card with M2 drive just yet. I wanted to just update the BIOS to have it ready for when I do in a couple of weeks. However, after flashing and setting all the settings exactly the same, my current windows goes into a boot loop of ‘Automatic Repair’ that it cant fix and 1 HDD and 1 Optical drive don’t even show in the BIOS.
You need to wait until you are ready then, when NVME drive arrives then you can use that BIOS.
hi there, just installed bios from op. looks like very high customized version of stock f11a. system boots ok with some fixin in settings(11 boot targets possible(!), and some tweaks on directly in bios).still awaiting for shippin my 970 evo with custom adaptor pcie-x4. at 3 hours runtime - looks like stable
Hello
Can I install this BIOS on z77 d3h? Or maybe can you mod this bios?
@Radex - No, you cannot use the BIOS from this thread, it’s not for your model.
If @Ferrous does not want to make mod for you, and you can’t follow This Guide to do yourself then I will make BIOS for you
This bios is getting really old. new kernels look for an upgraded bios or will give acpi errors.
Is it possible to upgrade the drivers in the bios and recompile ?
i had a look but it’s really to hard for me
Please make a bios for Z77x-D3h NVMe rev 1.0 I will be very grateful.
@Radex @Norcon -
Check your boards in bottom left corner to see what board revisions you have

@renato - What board and revision do you have, and what do you want updated?
Thank you very much earned.
Hi there! Could anybody give the link or advice how I can with flash the bios with .bin file?
@mikhail_smol - which file/link are you using? Sorry if I left any named .bin myself, if this is case let me know and I will re-upload and put new link for others later
For now, you can simply rename to stock extension, or flash as .bin probably works too, flash in Qflash within the BIOS using F8 while in BIOS or END Key at boot
Thank you!
I’m going to try “mod_z77-ds3h.bin” file to flash. That’s ok with its name. I will try to use Qflash.
And one more question,
As I understand from previous messages (#32 from this topic), you can create BIOS with this mode for another motherboard? Is it possible to make it for GA-H77-DS3H (rev1.0)? Or is “mod_z77-ds3h.bin” file appropriate for this motherboard?
@mikhail_smol - Sorry, that does not sound like any BIOS I made (not my naming style), so I can’t say for sure if you will be able to flash it via Qflash.
* edit - I checked, and I assume this is Ferrous BIOS from post #1, he says use Qflash too so should be OK
As to your question about the other board, yes I can make you NVME BIOS for that board too (no, you cannot use other model BIOS on it)
