Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a BIOS mod for the Inspur NF5270M4, NP5570M4, and NF5460M4 server motherboards (they’re almost the same, crossflashing should works!), aimed at unlocking advanced features and enabling broader usage. The mod removes hardware restrictions tied to official Inspur equipment, allowing use in standard PC towers (you can find this board really cheap on Aliexpress, great start for homelabing).
My github repo also include original firmwares, datasheets, pdfs (i did even translated those in french, english and russian) etc. Really useful because there’s literally no information on internet about this cheap board!
Here’s what the mod includes:
- Unlocked BIOS menus for enhanced control
- Turbo Boost unlocked for V3 CPUs (separate BIOS builds)
- Fixes for BMC Self-Test issues, drastically reducing boot time
- UEFI boot enabled by default, improving iKVM remote control (JViewer)
- Options for ““overclocking””, RAM Timing adjustments and settings related to, advanced power management and much more

For those using this motherboard outside of Inspur servers, the mod also includes a compatible BMC firmware (4.3.0 from NP5570M4). This crossflashing hack bypass PSUs errors not being connected to the board (leading to weird behaviors)
Important Notes:
- Flashing may overwrite DMI data—manual restoration is required.
- Do not flash 4.1.29-2 without proper cooling; it’s incompatible with E5-2600 V4 CPUs.
- Includes workarounds for DMI/FRU data via the FRU Information menu.
