[Offer] Intel Sandy/Ivy Bridge and Haswell VBIOS modules

Ok, home now, i will test on my Gigabyte shortly, but here is the mod and a short document.

VBIOSIntel2175_doc.zip (38.1 KB)

Looked. I also made the list. The list is not small. :frowning:
It turns out that while the early talk about the universality of this method to work on all motherboards. Not really be corrected under each specific MB. Then may appear 2176 and above, and have to start all over again.
It’s like sticking a SLIC on MDL.

Yes, for it to work on all motherboards, i don’t Think would be impossible,
But i was hoping the Intel version would have all outputs, that of course would have made things easier.

EDIT: i do Think these Changes could be applied to new versions though, it does seem like different portmappings,
but i Think i can check that, as now i have also both Gigabyte 2171 and 2173, would just have to compare what is changed.

I compared Gigabyte Z87X-OC VBIOS 2170, 2171, 2173.
The values on the offsets i had written down, are in 2171 and 2173 identical, minor difference in 2170.
Even though i think my way of correcting the checksum is wrong, it does seem to work.
I attached the actual values from Z87X-OC 2170, 2171, 2173.

Hello!
Have you checked out the new @VBIOS 2177 host, what results?

I have been a bit lazy, i have modded my Z87X-OC with it and flashed, and that works, but i only tried with the HDMI that is already connected, and i still have to get a DP adapter.
Have not tried on Asus board yet, but i will try on the Asus tonight and check the other HDMI on the Gigabyte.

It would be very interesting to know.

Both HDMI ports work with 2177 on my Gigabyte.
Have taken the Asus system apart, I’m going to sell the CPU.
