@Pacman
I went ahead and indeed that works as designed as you just wrote to extract as is and go ahead from there
Then after I did the microcode update, I used the OROM replacer to update VGA and EFI VGA and EFI GopDriver on the BIOS I wanted to use…
LAN perhaps later with same OROM replacer method
That is good
Asus came out with a new BIOS version for my Maximus this morning, so i did it this way and it works fine, i also use Orom_replace for the rest of the updates.
Greetings to all.
Who has a utility to configure "OROM VBIOS"? Share please.
ADD:
Many thanks to Florin9doi, for the programme Intel BMP.
@SoniX
Hi
I found Ivy Bridge GOP Driver 3.0.1027 thought maybe you want.
Also Ivy/Sandy VBIOS 2170, but it is for mobile, and OEM, but maybe you want to have a look, i attached some files and original BIOS.
EDIT: Original BIOS has to be extracted Before MMTool, UEFItool.

I propose to rename this topic. Add to the name of "Modification"
Full name of the theme will be like this:
"Intel Sandy/Ivy bridge and Haswell VBIOS differences and modification"
I suggest everyone to share their experiences and share OROM VBIOS and BSF files.

@ marsone:
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
The easiest way to update BIOS modules like the VBIOS is to use the "UEFI BIOS Updater" (UBU). You can find the download link and a guide within the start post of >this< thread.
Good luck!
Fernando

@SoniX thanks for the great work. I am unable to access the download (appears broken). Can you or someone upload the files again?

Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
Which download link are you searching for?
If it should be the VBIOS.rar file, I will attach it.
