, I did the same thing for the DMAF5 firmware I did for the AN1 firmware, I patched Section “Video Onboard” and “Network” to their last known version without touching the cpu microcodes which was the part that could possibly impede boot, rest of the firmware is untouched.
You can refer to the two captures under “What’s already done, before and after:” in the first post because if I remember correctly it was the same, the coders of firmware did not update those sections in any iteration of the firmware.
