I have an ASRock X570 Pro4 motherboard equipped with an AMD 5600X CPU and a GTX 2080TI graphics card. Due to the need to enable the resizable Bar feature in some games, major motherboard manufacturers do not support enabling this feature for older graphics cards from the 10 and 20 series. Since I spent over 7,000 yuan on this graphics card back then, I don’t want it to be obsolete! Therefore, I spent half a year on various BBS both domestically and internationally, searching for ASRock BIOS modification tutorials, but all attempts failed! Even using UEFI Tools to open it resulted in errors! UBU also reported errors!
I just joined this BBS yesterday and followed the instructions to join the QQ group. Little did I know that a master in the group would modify the BIOS of the latest version 5.67 of the ASRock X570 Pro4 for me. The flashing was successful, and the resizable Bar feature was enabled! Later, I learned that this master was D. I would like to thank D for modifying the BIOS file and for his selfless dedication! I dare not keep it to myself! I am sharing it here for everyone with the same model to use!!
Let’s talk about the principle and method. Firstly, this BIOS file has been inserted with a plugin for enabling the resizable Bar of 10-20 series graphics cards, created by a foreign expert. For the specific principle and method, please refer to [link]. Thank you to the video uploader
Usage:
- Download the X570 pro4 BIOS file in the attachment
- To flash this BIOS, please search on Baidu for specific methods. There are multiple methods available. (Special note: Due to the modified BIOS, it is absolutely not compatible with ASRock’s built-in BIOS upgrade tool)
Method 1. Under DOS 2. Connect to programmer 3. Use a flash tool, etc
After successfully flashing the BIOS and booting up, you need to download NvStrapsReBar.exe to enable it! For specific instructions, please watch the video provided by the content creator above
Risk warning: Do not power off during the flashing process. Those with limited technical skills should not attempt it lightly, as it may result in your motherboard becoming damaged and unbootable! I will not be held responsible for any consequences arising from this!
Due to forum size limitations, it has been uploaded to Baidu Cloud Disk
