[Offer] Skylake Non-k OC BIOS Archive

Thanks, i got, it is difficult

Yes, i tried to use E7970IMS.33T, but M-flash mode does not recognized bios-file as valid for instalation.

I just can not be able to see E7970IMS.33T at M-flash selection menu.

And I have one more question. When I downgrade bios, is it fully replacing all things by instalable bios? Or some things can left by previous-one? How it works?

I see. Thanks for reporting the issue.

If you have updated to a newer BIOS it could be that the Intel Management Engine (ME) firmware is not being downgraded when you flash an older BIOS with M-flash.

If you can see the ME firmware version in BIOS, you should check whether it is v11.0.x.xxxx or v11.6.x.xxxx (or higher)

If it shows v11.6, v11.7 or v11.8 then it may be causing issues.

If you can’t see the ME version in BIOS you should download the ME 11 tools from this thread:

CSME System Tools v11

Use the MeinfoWin64 tool from a Windows command prompt to check which version is currently on the motherboard.

Hi, Thanks, i have used HWiNFO (this software was mentioned in post)

ME version is v11.0, Build 1194, Hotfix 0

Last hypothesis that i want to check is Windows UEFI firmware update platform (UpdateCapsule)

I have installed windows 7, according to the official documentation this version does not support it:

I will share the results in a few days, probably after weekend

Thank you very much.

I appreciate your hard work. Keep up the good work.

Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3 rev.1.0 motherboard Non-K OC BIOS versions F6e and F6f.

The original, unmodified, most recent version is F22f.
Is F6f up to date? Does it have all the features of F22f?

Is it possible to make a Non-K OC BIOS modification on the F22f or F22a?

@thing7286 Hi, and you’re welcome.

F22f is a Kaby Lake supported BIOS (as are all of the F2x BIOS).

None of the F2x BIOS will allow Skylake non-k overclocking, even if you change the ME firmware etc.

If you are currently overclocking a Skylake CPU via base clock then stick with the F6x BIOS.

I’m searching for lists of Non-K processors in web searches. I can’t find them. Which Skylake, Kaby Lake, and Coffee Lake processors are Non-K?

The BIOS chip has 8MB of memory. I can’t write all the microcodes into it. It won’t fit. So I don’t know which microcodes to load. It should support i7-7700, i7-9700, and i3-6100. Don’t ask me why. Can you help me with this? @chinobino

Any CPU that does not have K in the name is a non-k CPU e.g.

i3-6100, i3-6300, i3-6320, i5-6400, i5-6500, i5-6600, i5-6600, i7-6700

All of the above are Skylake CPU’s that can be overclocked via base clock with the BIOS in this thread.

There is no point in trying to add CPU microcodes for Kaby Lake or Coffee Lake CPU’s to the BIOS in this thread as none of them will support those CPU’s.

Is overclocking with Non-K OC BIOS only applicable to Skylake processors?

Can Kaby Lake and Coffee Lake processors be overclocked with Non-K OC BIOS?

Yes.

No.
