Hi,
Your forum has really been helpful in getting me acquainted with RAID conversion, setup and benchmark. I feel confident and ready!
I plan to convert to RAID 0 on a PC with 2 Intel SSDs. I have few PCs in this configuration. OS in use is Windows 7 64 bit. I am nervous about upgrading BIOS and would like to stay with current one - Intel RST version in Option ROM is v11.2.0.1527. Intel Chipset is 7 series.
I remember reading TRIM enabled in RST 11.5 and above. In terms of performance and compatibility with an old Intel RST (RAID ROM) in BIOS, would you recommend using a specific Intel RST RAID driver version - 11.6, 12.x, 13.x or 14.x?
Thanks!

Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
No, all Intel RST drivers from v11.0 up do support the TRIM in RAID0 feature.
I recommend to install the Intel RST driver v11.2.0.1006 WHQL, which will give your Intel 7-Series RAID0 system the best possible performance (in combination with the Intel RAID ROM v11.2.0.1527 of your BIOS).
