Option ROM and External Controller ROM space

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has come across a boot being stuck at "Verifying DMI App Pool…" when using a 3rd party PCIe controller (LSI 2008 series IT mode) for boot while running AMD AHCI controller in AHCI mode (Bios v3.1). It boots fine when I have the internal controller running in IDE mode. I would like to use AHCI mode if possible. I suspect that they must be using the same address space that it is causing the BIOS to stop at "Verifying DMI App Pool…" but what is about AHCI mode that causes the problem but not IDE mode? Do you think if I updated the AMD AHCI rom to 3.2 would help?

@ Trinergy:

I am sorry, but I cannot answer your questions, because I never had an AMD platform system.
