New drivers for ASMedia
http://www.station-drivers.com/index.php…55&lang=fr#9604
Thanks for the info, but have you read the feedback, which was posted by users, who had tried these new ASMedia USB 3.x drivers?
On z170 and win10 work fine.
Do you mean the Intel USB 3.0 drivers or the ASMedia ones?
If it should be the Intel ones, which version and which variant (original or mod+signed) did you install?
Asmedia latest from station-drivers 1.16.28.1
Your modded intel usb 3.0 drivers work very good
This is a stupid thing, but may anyone help me on updating to the 1.16.28.1 drivers?
To make them work I have to update all the ASmedia components in device manager, but as I update the first, my mouse (that is plugged in ASmedia port) stops working…
Solution: Insert the USB connector of the mouse (and maybe of the keyboard as well) temporarily into an Intel USB port, before you start the driver update.
After the reboot you can redo the USB port switch.

Good luck with these new ASMedia USB 3.0/3.1 drivers!

Well, in effects this is an elementary solution and it worked. Unluckily I had to disconnect other things, as Z170 Deluxe has only 1 Intel USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 on the back…
worked fine on ASUS Sabertooth x99 W10 x64.
Step1:
Then reboot.
Then Step 2:
Then reboot.
Then working fine.
Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller

64bit Intel USB 3.0 Drivers v4.0.2.42 mod+signed by Fernando doesn’t work.
edit: Got it to work. Had to manually point and use have disk method. Didn’t know which generic usb hub to point so I had to guess multiple times.
@OkanayaNao
with “PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8D31&SUBSYS_86001043&REV_05” i have a same ‘symptom’ with v4.x branch Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller, so i keep the native MS W10 in the box driver up and running.

So your USB3.0 using MS driver runs at 2.0 speed?
Hi Fernando,
This driver appears not signed both on Win 7 x64 and on Win2003 x86. I have ASMedia USB 3.0.
I’m skipping it for now.

No, MS drivers are running at 3.0 full speed:
This driver appears not signed both on Win 7 x64 and on Win2003 x86. I have ASMedia USB 3.0.
What lets you believe, that this ASmedia USB 3.0/3.1 driver has not been digitally signed by Microsoft?
It is always necessary to force the driver installation, if you want to replace a WHQL certified driver by a mod+signed driver, whose certificate has not yet been accepted as "trustworthy" by the system.
Thanks for the heads up and feedback on latest USB 3.x ASMedia drivers. No complete Drivers & Software set around yet?

Well, the dialog (when I select the .inf) says so. And there is no icon besides the description. On 2003 I installed it anyway and even after a reboot, when I revisit device manager, it says that the driver is not signed.
Cryptographic service is up and running all the time.
According to Sysinternals Sigcheck 2.3 (26OCT15), all the drivers in the Asmedia 1.16.28.1 package are properly signed, but by Asmedia, not Microsoft. Maybe outdated trusted/valid publishers databases on those OSes?
