Hi @Lost_N_BIOS ,
It was the in-place windows upgrade. Sorry for replying late a I was testing a few things to really see if everything is as smooth as butter. And it everything seems to be working fine.
The disk enumeration was tricky. When I reset the BIOS or update it with the mod, or roll back to older version, my OS NVME always moves to disk 1. So I thought that maybe I should change the physical connection, so I swapped the 2 nvme around in the motherboard. But still the same thing happens when I reset the bIOS etc.
So I just did what you suggested before, uninstall the additional drive from Disk Manager, shut down PC and removed from motherboard, let OS boot and change the OS drive to 0, and then put the second storage again and it registers as disk 1. Seems ok so far.
But I donât think that that was the issue, speed was the same when the OS was on Disk 1.
Itâs booting up within 7-8 seconds so everything is goodâŚso far lol.
Thanks for all your help. I hope others who got the same system can benefit.
@jand1 - Great to hear everything is now tested and working smoothly!
Also nice you were able to get windows to disk 0, I donât know how important that is to the boot delay issue you were having, but that was my first thought to fix before the OS in-place update.
Youâre welcome, anytime you have BIOS stuff you need edited let me know!
Do you know what? I sent a reply but it didnât send. I think i keep pressing te âpreviewâ button and thinking it was the send button. lol
Anyways, the disk enumeratioin was a weird one. Every time I reset BIOS settings or update it a newer version(1.55) or downgrade it (1.51) or update on the modded BIOS you made, it kept moving my OS storage as disk 1. So I thought maybe the physical attachment on the motherboard is what was causing it. So, I swapped my 2 nvme around. But the gues what?! the same thing happened. So in the end , I just did what you told me before. Uninstall the second storage on the Device Manager, and boot with only the OS nvme attached and that changed it to Disk 0, and then I reattached the second nvme storage again and it was put as disk 1.
Anyways, I donât think this was the issue because I also tested the bootup speed while the OS storage was set to Disk 1 and the speed was the same 7-8 seconds.
I hope that this will help some people who got the same system from PC Specialist - the only thing I donât like about this is the GamingCenter app which controls the lightings of the rgb strip and keyboard and power profiles. Looks tacky and really doesnât compare with the ones I had with Asus, Gigabyte, Razr, but I guess this is a small company so it cant compete with the big boys.
ANyways, I will definitely keep you in mind if I or anyone I know needs help with BIOS stuff. My profession is Web development and graphic design so shouldnât need any more things done on the BIOS. hehe
Thank you so much again @Lost_N_BIOS !!!
I have an OP GK7CN6S BIOS v.1.04 (shipped with v1.03) I downloaded the v1.08 @Lost_N_BIOS provided in the guide since the OP site is not exactly up to date, curious though when running F.Bat in an administrative prompt I get the following:
" WARNING !!
The ROM file information does not match with the system BIOS!
If forcedly update BIOS, it may destroy the System BIOS!
We strongly do not suggest to flash the BIOS!"
I havenât proceeded past that point as I am a bit unsure. I did do a search on the forums for anyone having a similar problem and came up with zilch. It is odd because updating to v1.04 from v1.03 gave me zero warnings of this type.
Hello, do you Have the mech 17 1660ti Stock Bios?

Hey thanks for making such a well collected guide. I believe I have the same issue as âbladerelicâ on page 22; my BIOS shortcut keys donât seem to be letting me access the BIOS. Also tried booting it through the Windows 10 options, as you suggested we google search up.
My system is the âCyberPower NB-408-109 - GJ5CN6E >> BIOS_N.1.04â.
I followed all the steps, just seems this may be my only issue.
I shared the link to my modded BIOS in the event this isnât something I can just fix myself.
I appreciate any help you provide.
I canât post links until I have 5 posts. Can I pm you the tinyupload link? I didnât see a designated Spam section of the forums.
@Vic20 - Sounds like you are trying to flash an incorrect model BIOS - Ohh wait, never mind, that is standard info given for that batch file. I checked 1.04 batch, it says exact same thing, so you must have forgot it showed you this when you flashed to 1.04

@wsjbw - What is the tonfang model name? I donât think I have the Eluktronics package, but I believe they have all BIOS on their site, since I have a ton of their stock BIOS packages
@Alwaysasbefore - Youâre welcome, and thank you too! try removing your hard drive, that should let you into the BIOS
If you need to post a link, break it >> www. tinyupload . com
I think maybe he flashed in a bad mod BIOS, so itâs possible yours was bad too?
@Lost_N_BIOS
That gave me a good chuckle lol.

Could it have been that it defaulted to save it as a .rom file instead of .bin?
edit: apparently it let me post it without 5 post count.
Hello, Tongfang GK7CP6S.
@Alwaysasbefore - bin/rom = same/same - What is the above file? If it is your mod BIOS, you need to send both original FPT dump and your mod file from that FPT dump. Please put both in single max compressed zip Yes, I think you only need one good post and then you can PM and send links.
About bladerelic issue on page #22, that is all I can think of to be the cause, as you can see my replies, he flashed in some unknown BIOS, not one I made him, possibly not one for his system etc - unsure.
But, once I sent him mod BIOS he did not reply back, so assume all was fixed right then
@wsjbw _ I only have the Mechrevo Stock GK7CP6S package. Why do you need the Eluk one? If you just need mod BIOS, send me your FPT dump created AFTER youâve disabled BIOS/SMI lock.
@Lost_N_BIOS
Here, Iâve got them both in a .rar for you.

Thank you again.
I touch de Offset Voltage, I have de Bios and the Nvram data, But the laptop Turn on and off. I have the CH341a and the sofware
@wsjbw - So you set voltage too low? If yes, do you have dump of your BIOS from before this happened, like original FPT or AFU BIOS region dump? If yes, send to me, along with your current dumped BIOS from programmer.
@Alwaysasbefore - Thanks, I will check it and get back to you shortly
@wsjbw - What is your BIOS Chip ID? IN case I need to have you make a new dump, and or so I can tell you which software/version or chip ID to use to write back so write does not fail.
Sorry, I thought you posted it before. I also need dump of your current BIOS chip contents. Before you dump it, answer me the above BIOS chip ID question, so I can tell you what software/version to use etc.
The bios Chip: Windbond (W25Q128FV)
the Nvram ( GIGA DEVICE/ GD25Q20)
@Alwaysasbefore - I see the issue! You put setup into AMITSE, so you need to rebuild your mod BIOS properly is all
I canât check your actual menu modifications, since there is no AMITSE here to check, so as long as you did the edit OK then all you need to do is replace the modules into proper location.
General note, only replace same way you extracted (As-Is or Body), just general comment there, I did not look at this. Then pay close attention what you are replacing into where. Setup into setup only, and AMITSE into AMITSE only
@wsjbw - For W25Q128FV use Colibri (included below) or ASProgrammer, make a dump and send to me

@Lost_N_BIOS Thank you so much for the help. I needed to have set my file type to âallâ when viewing the folder through file browser. I didnât see the .efi file originally. Fixed it!
Will be sending you a PM promptly.
Thanks for your help @Lost_N_BIOS successfully modded my bios using your guide, and best of all no more damn speed step! Thanks again!
