Hello.
I write in Spanish.
P5B Deluxe Wifi-AP
AMI BIOS v.1238
Intel Matrix storage Manager ROM 6.1.0.1002
Chipset: ICH8R
HDD: 3 x 500
RAID: RAID 5 and RAID 0 matrix
To the replace the “option ROM PCI” by "Intel RST RAID ROM v11.2.0.1527"
Get “Error!” ROM space isn’t enough. "It exceede 3D80h bytes"
There isn’t the option "OEM Logo"
There is a "Small Logo (s) size 0548 h (insufisientes)"
Try to eliminate language Japanese, being impossible.
Could you help me. from already thank you very much.
EDIT by Fernando: Spanish language part of the post removed (only English language is accepted here)
@balger :
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
If you don’t find within your mainboard BIOS an Option ROM, which can be removed without any problem for the system (example: the LAN ROM), I recommend to insert the Intel RST RAID ROM v10.1.0.1008, which is much smaller sized than the v11.2.0.1527 one.

Hola Fernando, te pido disculpas por mi ultimo mensaje. resulta que estaba el item "OEM Logo".
Pude realizar todos los pasos. Excelente explicación.
Ahora mi ROM RAID driver is v11.2.0.1006
GRACIAS.

Hi Fernando, I apologize for my last message. It turns out that it was the "OEM Logo" item.
I could make all those steps. Excellent explanation.
Now my ROM RAID driver is v11.2.0.1006
Thank you.
Then came the "Modded+signed Intel RST drivers v11.2.0.1006" to windows 10 in an ISO. I installed. And all came out walking. At the beginning all inept. After a few adjustments. A Flash.
But, I have noticed that the service intel RST is not running and I can not access the RAID in Windows console.
Change, the service AIStorDataSvc(32 bit) takes between 20 and 35% of the CPU. My installation is windows 10 PRO 64 bit.

@balger :
It is fine, that you succeeded at least regarding the insertion of a newer Intel RAID ROM module into the mainboard BIOS and to installation of Windows 10 x64 onto your RAID system.
This cannot be true, because such Intel RAID ROM version is not available.
Does than mean, that you integrated the “Modded+signed Intel RST drivers v11.2.0.1006” into the Win10 image? If yes, I would be very surprised, because this seemed to me as being impossible.
By the way: There was no need to take the “mod+signed” variant of the driver, because your RAID system should be fully supported by the original 64bit Intel RST RAID driver v11.2.0.1006 WHQL.
Questions:
1. Which Intel RAID ROM version is your on-board Intel SATA RAID Controller currently using? You can find it out by pressing CTRL+I while booting, because the Intel RAID Utility has the exact same version.
2. How did you get the “mod+signed” Intel RST driver v11.2.0.1006 integrated into the Win10 x64 image?
3. Which Intel RAID driver version is your on-board Intel SATA RAID Controller currently using? Please expand the “Storage Controllers” section of the Device Manager, do a right click onto the listed Controller and choose te options “Properties” > “Driver” > “Driver Details”.
The Intel RST Console requires the Windows feature “.NET Framework 3.0”, which is natively not installed. You can get it by running the “Control Panel” > “Programs and Features” and checking the related box of the option “Turn Windows features on or off”. After having done a reboot you may have to run the installer of the Intel RST Set again.
Ok.
1- ROM RAID: 11.2.0.1527
2- From this forum. step by step
3- In Storage controllers I have 3 devices
- spaceport.sys v10.0.10240.16384
- iaStorA.sys v11.6.0.1030
- jraid.sys v1.17.49.4
I have installed full ".NET Framework 3.0" and the RST is not runnig
@balger :
Thanks for your quick answers.
This was the best possible choice.
Has your RAID array been detected by the Win10 Setup? And you really got the “mod+signed” Intel RST RAID driver running from scratch?
This is neither the Win10 in-box nor the integrated Intel RAID driver. Did you update the driver or have you installed the Intel RST(e) Drivers & Software Set v11.6.0.1030 later on? If yes, why?
Maybe this is a bug of the Intel RST(e) Drivers & Software Set v11.6.0.1030. Look >here<.
I have looked into all the linked posts, but couldn’t find answers to my recent questions.
