Pavilion m01-F0033w to TP01 BIOS (dump needed)

Looking up what CPU are supported is a clusterfuck, not helped by the many revisions that seem to just be the same board, but maybe missing the SD card slot.
Supposedly the TP01 Pavilion supports the 5700G, which is what I want.
I’m looking for that .bin to flash to my board with a CH340. If I loose the SD card reader, oh well. I don’t currently have a working CPU in the board to try updating HP’s way. Even if I did, they don’t make it clear what CPU I could upgrade to.

EDIT: Damm, since 2023 on this… just keep in mind that HP and others… wants to sell…not to prolong hw life. When it comes to branded OEM systems, this is usually done at hw level design and not code.
Have some spare boards? Then cross flashing may be an option.
Anyway, just my POV, good luck.

Yeah, that’s my post. What brought me here. Guess I should have linked it for more context. Was trying to help a kid upgrade, but they built a different system or lost interest or something. I was just given the board today without the CPU.

I’m about to get stupid with it.

Lots of apps and/or each mb/ic details, that will generate too many issues to track them down…
Keep trying and there’s guides on this forum about the use of it.

Had to desolder the EEPROM to read it.

Thought it was just read/write protected, so I put a random one on, from an X470 board. Fan doesn’t stop spinning now.
Something about the board design keeps me from simply clipping on the programmer.
I think the embedded windows key if the 1st thing not all Fs.

No surprise in some cases… plenty of it and preferable sometimes when they start to annoy a bit…
Some or most…cases are the design circuit spi-pch, that prevents the on-surface operations.

EDIT:

The bios AMD AGESA version may have a word on this… supported AMD cpu gen.
Not an easy module to deal with… as you may noticed in several forums.

Anybody know a B55A board BIOS that supports the 1700X? I still don’t know if my parts work, or if BIOS chipset name needs to match hardware for it to not refuse to even try to boot.

link?

Oh no, no sir… there’s no link…AMD AGESA is part of all AMD platforms and plays a great role in a system bios, the same impacts the SMU module.

I know what AGESA is. Thought you might at least have a link to something that would get me started.

i’m going to return to not giving myself an aneurysm over it, and hope someone comes by with the TP01 BIOS dump.
