i updated the BIOS from 3508 to v3802 only to see that my intel me versionn is 0.0.0.0
now my pc takes 30 seconds to post

i7-6700K
16gb RAM (DDR4 3000MHz 16GB(8GBx2))
Samsung 850 Pro ssd – 250gb
Have anyone got any idea of how to fix this . i tried flashing the me.bin region by failed as i get error 26
also i get error 8743 unknown or unsupported platform from fwupdlc164 tool…
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Nothing CSME-related changed between 3504 and 3802. Run Flash Programming Tool with command “fptw -greset” and check after the restart if the problem is gone. If not, re-flash the latest SPI/BIOS via Asus FlashBack in case the problem is BIOS region related. If nothing helps, you’ll need to remove the SPI chip from its socket and re-program it via a CH341A programmer or similar.
I did fptw -greset and said operation successful and restarted but in bios me is still 0.0.0.0. What else can i do???
Download cap file from asus website, use uefi tool to extract bios image from capusle. Copy board data to bios image file with fd44 editor and flash directly to bios chip via spi programmer.
If you need help still I can show you how to flash back to the previous BIOS ME firmware.
