I was updating my Razer Blade Advanced to latest BIOS, when BSOD happened. It has knocked out my Intel ME (state shown as disabled, all the symptoms are there) and I try to apply ME updated ( i have original from Razer) but it gives error 20: cannot locate ME device and error 620: unknown hardware platform. I have CH341a programmer, but I have no idea how to repair ME corruption. Where do I get the tools, and how can I fix this? Sleep and long post are a big problem.
I have tried afuwinx64 with /MEUF, /MER, and /ME. FDR is locked.
As long as you have and can use a hardware programmer, the problem can be solved. Dump your SPI chip’s data, compress and attach/link to the image here. Also, link to the latest official BIOS update from Razer.
Actually, I have solved it myself. Flashing original Razer ROM decompressed from their flasher via SPI flasher CH341A has restored the ME region. I have unlocked the menus I need as well for undervolt. Everything is well in Razer Land right now. Sorry for the panic post
