Does anyone know how to change the port:drive assignment under Windows 7that some software use instead of letters? I have two optical drives connected to an ASMedia controller with two ports and the first is detected as [1:0] and the second as [1:8]. What is the logic in this? If the same drives are connected to the on-board Intel controller they are both identified as [0:0] and some applications only "see" only one of the two drives. Any ideas how to fix this?
