Acer Predator PHN16-71, I cannot seem to locate the BIOS chip. Found two contenders, one’s marking is pretty much done for, the second one is only 2MB (25LQ16ETIG).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The attatched image of the chip has no marking.
Didn’t you even tried to clean the IC/pcb from residual flux??? Yes that seems to be the main IC…and seems to suffer from unprofessional handling.
And next time include mb label information, on this kind of post.
Actually this is not my device, it’s my friend’s device who’s actually living in another country. Im guiding him through recovering his laptop, However thank you so much for your help
Actually…we dont care if this is a remote “help”, the question is assuming that there’s an open encyclopedia of all motherboards models released that OEMs share public or that every user has his chassis open and same model just to answer to this, thus the relevant part of mention the motherboard model label, with this teaching users how to correctly post this kind of request.
