Hello friends. I have been struggling with this device for several months. The problem is that the laptop is 6th generation and every BIOS I find is 7th generation. In the BIOS settings, it says Kaby Lake in the integrated graphics. The graphics drivers are not installed properly in Windows either. I would be grateful if any of my friends could help me finish this laptop.
Model : Alienware 17 R4 (6th gen)
Motherboard : LA-D753P rev 1.0(A00)
CPU: 6820HK

Original Dell update files or dumps?
Service Tag of the system
That’s exactly the problem. The previous repair shop didn’t back up the BIOS. We have no backup.

Well you have no backup but the system is programed with something, right?
What’s the issue with the system bios, for you to search for it?
Bios_region can be extracted from Dell update files with AMIUCP (R00.rom/R01.rom) or AMIUCP extractor.
These file are not ready for any Dell bios recover or SPI programmer, but can be merged/swapped…
The device displays the image, but the Intel and Nvidia graphics drivers are not installed properly. Because the current BIOS is for the seventh generation, but our laptop is the sixth generation.
I tested all the available BIOSes, but they did not work.
I am not really an expert in editing BIOS.
I even asked for help in the bad caps forum, but unfortunately no one there could help me.
Sorry but you can’t fully recover just from Dell files (No CSME FW), a dump of the system is needed and yours seems not valid then… or a user dump.
Unless the system has a full bios recover specific Dell method using the EXE or .RCV file
Files by AMIUCP extractor
or AMIUCP
And this Dell bios update supports several models all Sky/Kaby Lake as the LA-D753P sch…
Can this be an issue @ hardware level…

This one from LA-D751(3)P… assuming you confirmed the revision model on the pcb…

Wait for a Badcap’s user donation… it’s your only hope.
