As you can see I have specified your chosen thread title and moved the thread into the “BIOS Modding Problems” Forum Category.
Hoping, that you will get some help from an Intel BIOS expert, I wish you good luck!
Why do you presume this… have you dumped the SPI IC? Did you compare to other/original?
Done any measures to key points of input voltage/ohms?
It is power up or boot up… not the same last time i checked.
i agree with MeatWar - i think we’re missing details.
intel server motherboards have a “BIOS Recovery Jumper”. i recommend reading the motherboard manual as well as recovery instructions that are often included in BIOS “ReleaseNotes”.
here’s an example from a different Intel motherboard (please find your specific model details):
The recovery media must contain the following files under the root directory:
- FVMAIN.FV
- UEFI iFlash32 2.6 Build 15
- *Rec.CAP
- Startup.nsh (update accordingly to use proper *Rec.CAP file)
Thanks Fernando. I’ll notice
I will do a post make it more detail. I have dump it’s SPI BIOS before. I don’t have good this board or good backup to compare. But the power rails on board are all normal surely.
I try but nothing happened
This is diag files which I captured and reference
diag.zip (10.0 MB)
And two backup bios files of it
corrupted-bios.zip
Based on this PDF document, your board is an Intel® Server Board S1200SPSR. There are 4 tabs there to consider.
The latest BIOS and Firmware Update Package is here.
I agree with jali. Since this board has a service mode jumper, moving the pin into service mode (1 pin to the right?) might help. It looks like the BIOS Recovery Jumper is the white pin labeled “BIOS_RCVR” behind what looks like the LAN ports. Not sure what the yellow “BIOS_DFLT” jumper is all about.
Tougher board to deal with, with the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) component. Good luck.
Edit: Yeah, you got it with your attached zip file. Section 9 of both zipped docs is where to start. Good luck again.

I tried this way but motherboard can’t boot normally. I followed guide in Section 10 to check the led code but I still have no idea
I see in your last picture the green lights and the CPU fan spinning, but that no CMOS battery is installed?
I can’t really tell from a picture what the lights are doing, but you can, and can refer to section 10. If a bios repair is needed, read 9.2. There’s more to it than simply moving the pin.
Edit: Seeing the MP4 you included. System Status LED is blinking, and one of the errors is “Battery failure”.
