Here are my answers:
- The name of Samsung’s NVMe driver is secnvme.sys.
- Only SSDs, which have the usually hidden boot sector partition on it, are shown as being bootable. To make sure, that the OS Setup creates the boot sector onto the correct target disk drive, it is recommended to remove/unplug all other HDDs/SSDs before starting the OS Setup.
This indicates, that you haven’t integrated or installed a usable NVMe driver correctly before or during the Win7 installation. There are only these 2 options:
- a) The MS NVMe Hotfix(es) had been integrated into the Win7 boot.wim and install.wim (for details look >here<).
- b) During the first stage of the OS installation a 100% matching WHQL certified NVMe driver has been loaded (“F6 loading”). The “pure” generic 64bit Phison NVMe driver v1.5.0.0 WHQL for Win7 may be a good choice (you can find it >here< as well).
