That kind of info is attached to SPI image, nothing to do with the programming, i do advise u to have a backup/dump of ur current system in order to preserve UUID, MAC, serial etc…
later u can attach/edit this info on a new/dump image.
@GeorgettaCZ :
You had started this thread already in December 2016, when the procedure how to get full NVMe support for an AMD chipset mainboard with an AMI UEFI BIOS was not yet fully developed.
Meanwhile we know, that it can be done the same way as with Intel chipset mainboards by following >this< guide.
Instead of inserting various NVMe BIOS modules, which had previously been extracted from the BIOS for another mainboard model, it is much easier and safer to insert just 1 generic NVMe module, which matches all AMI UEFI BIOSes.
To avoid any confusion by users with an ASUS A88XM-A mainboard, who want to boot off an NVMe SSD, I have
a) moved your thread into this better matching Sub-Forum and
b) customized the thread title
hoping, that this is ok for you.
Hallo Fernando!
Sure no problem for me at all.
Thank you for taking care!
