[Problem] Intel USB 3.0 Controller with "This device cannot start (Code 10)" message

Hi.

I receive “This device cannot start. (Code 10)” in Windows 7 SP1 x64 with latest updates when I’m trying to install USB 3.0 driver.
I’ve got this in Hardware IDs:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A2AF&SUBSYS_86941043&REV_00
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A2AF&SUBSYS_86941043
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A2AF&CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A2AF&CC_0C03

I have to use a PS/2 mouse and keyboard.
In Windows 10 on the same PC with standard Microsoft driver, everything works OK! Also, USB devices work in ASUS BIOS!
I’ve tried a lot already, even pure and modded drivers from the first page of this topic. Help.

@fx1 :
Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum and thanks for your interesting report!

Did you get any error message while trying to install the latest Intel USB 3.0 drivers while running Win7?
Which package did you choose and how did you install the drivers (via Installer, manually or via DPInst)?
Did you try to uninstall the Intel USB 3.0 Controller from within the Device Manager after having gotten the Code 10 error message and to reboot thereafter?

Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)

No, just “Error 10. This Device cannot start” after all.

I chose x64 pure package and then x64 modded package. Installed manually. Before that I tried latest package from the Intel site, manually and via setup.exe. Also tried package from ASUS site, via setup.exe.

Yes, no change.

Hey, guys, did anyone encounter it?
Maybe it would be more effective to create a new thread here about this problem?

Done!
Hopefully it will help you.
