[Problem] My Dell AIO 3480 BIOS cannot be downgraded

Hello,

I am looking for any bios for Dell AIO 3480. I don’t know how, but Windows Update made bios upgrade to version 1.17.5. It is newer than available on support website

I have tried to downgrade with FAT32 usb disk but I get error that bios downgrade is NOT possible. I cannot change option in the BIOS.

What is very strange - this looks like ‘old’ BIOS, not standard graphical BIOS/uefi with windows and possibility to usemouse.

I am affraid if there will be any other method than putting it through CH341 programmer?

ANy help is more than appreciate. I still have BSODs in windows, and in diagnostics it throwing errors about disk error. There is one SATA Kingston SSD in slot, its new.

Probably the best method… Intel FPT tool could be an option if a Service_Mode jumper present or FD regions unlocked for read/write operations.

This kind of update is quite common now in OEM branded systems, they are published in MS WUS and usually is newer than the OEM product page.

EDIT: You can try some files from here but it needs original data system edited.
