So, i have a pc (hp 250 g7) which doesnt support Windows 7 natively, i tried to use it but it never worked (Always hung at Starting Windows or didnt go past disk.sys in safe mode), so i tried UEFISeven
Installation went fine, but during the part where it asks me to reboot, i did. But when restarted it was stuck on Starting Windows, it didnt freeze tho, the logo was still shining and dimming and all. So i figured it might be my storage controller drivers, i used dism to install the intel rst drivers and voila! it booted up. Then after completing installation and “Setup will continue after restarting your computer” It got stuck AGAIN at starting windows (doesnt hang). I tried reinstalling the storage controller drivers but to no avail. And it safe mode it stopped after loading “CLASSPNP.SYS”. Some forums suggested installing graphics drivers, but it still didnt work. It just refuses to enter the OOBE. This is UEFISeven btw not original Windows 7.
i recommend using flashboot instead but it sounds like its an issue with the ACPI.

Thanks for the reply, and im not dual booting. I’ve already replaced the acpi.sys in both system32/drivers folders as well as the driverstore filerepository folder. However i dont think this is related to acpi cuz i have run win7 on this pc before with no problems.
EDIT - I solved the problem. I just had to manually boot from windows 7’s efi file. However its causing problem now cuz my laptop tries to find the bootmgfw.original.efi, Which doesnt exist. I have to keep on manually selecting the efi file to boot from
if you want the dualboot version, you will have to manually install it, not using the windows setup in the iso like normal, but i can show you how to do that, maybe i will even try to make a video, do you want me to do that?
