[Problem] Usage of the H2OUVE Tool for Insyde BIOSes

Hey there!

I am using a Clevo L140AU notebook and wanted to unlock BIOS settings using H2OUVE, but I had troubles finding the working version of this software.
I have found a H2OUVE v. 200.00.01.00, but even though
When I’m trying to modify the Setup settings I get an error message saying couldn’t find file (from built in Web browser) and a second one OLE Automation error code 0.

Could anyone please hand me a working version of this software? I will appreciate!

Many thanks.

First dump the bios using command line:
h2ouve.exe -r bios_dump.bin

The use program H2OEZE to edit.

Hi, new here.
I am trying to explore the setup values of my bios to check/uncheck a few settings, as most are locked out (not appearing) by default. I am hit with this message when I click “setup” on the left side:

What should I do to clear this error and access my setup values?

same problem here++

Have you tried loading an image instead of using uve in runtime mode?

I’ve tried, it opens up a new option called String. Provides explanations of settings in the bios itself.
Setup is still inaccessable.

Some devices require adding program support. What’s yours? I could try to find a bios image file and add the support.

Try to use command line:
h2ouve.exe - r bios_dump.bin

This is ok. Actually I don’t care. This is your forum, so I think you can do what you want.
