Problems with Win 7 installation on Corsair MP500 and MSI H97M-G43

Hallo,

I´m an absolutely newbie.
I will build a new System with Corsair MP500 240GB and MSI H97M-G43. At the installation of Win 7, there will be no drive shown an I should install the correct driver.
Please, can someone help me.

welcome at Win-RAID Forum!

Since the Corsair MP500 is an NVMe SSD, there must be an NVMe module within the mainboard BIOS to be able to boot off it.
You should either ask MSI for a BIOS, which supports NVMe, or insert the related BIOS module yourself.

Furthermore you may need to load a suitable NVMe driver while trying to get Win7 installed onto the NVMe SSD.

now it works with this instruction.

Win 7 and NVMe

The Problem was Win 7 without NVMe Driver.
but the speed is improvable.
