I’m new to this forum and if ever I missed some guidelines, please do let me know. So I’ve been using branded servers like Dell, IBM, Hp and every time I setup RAID 0, 1, 10 I normally leave very thing on its default settings and it worked fine. Recently I joined a company whom uses Supermicro with Avago RAID cards. So in setting up the array, you’ll see raid cache policy, write back/write through some custom settings which I don’t really deal before. My question is, is there an ideal performance settings to tweak on these options to make sure performance is not just optimal but to have a faster experience?

@T3chnician : Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Although I have no experience with Avago MegaRAID cards, I recommend to choose the "Write back" option for the best performance.
