RAID0 with TRIM support for Gigabyte EP45-UD3R V1.1 help ~

Hi there, i’m on an ancient Gigabyte EP45-UD3R V1.1, and just started experimenting with a RAID 0 array of SSD’s
Problem is, I’m having trouble locating an oROM with the latest updates, that would enable TRIM.

Could anyone point me in the correct direction of a custom ROM with what I need pls? I managed to find a link on tweaktown, but the links are dead.

You can find the related "Universally TRIM-in-RAID0 modified" Intel RAID ROM modules within the start post of >this< thread.
The best choice for the Intel ICH10R SATA RAID Controller of your system will be the v11.2.0.1527.

Thanks for the quick reply, Fernando. Unfortunately, I’m new to recompiling bios’es, a little worried I might brick my board. Is there anyone here with a similar board with a working bios?

From what I’ve seen the models in EP45 line are all very similar with regards to the BIOS structure. I’m running some DS4 and DS4P’s with updated RAID and LAN modules, as well as edited CPU microcode for Xeon support - but most of the information I used to do this was based on posts from other models. As long as you follow instructions, make one change at a time then test it, and don’t try to change anything listed above the MINIT module, you should be reasonably safe.
