RAM issues with Lenovo M75q (11JK) Gen2 bios

(My primary language isn’t english so… u know)

So the context is: I bought a new memory module of 16gb RAM at 3200mhz, but my m75q don’t want to use it. The CPU-Z show it is installed, but in the bios says i have only 8 GB (from another module). Ok, i started doing a lot of dangerous things there i’m not supposed to do, like change an offset… like, i’m not from this area but i’m technic, so i know A LITTLE BIT where i’m not supposed to be… well, my pc not bricked and i realy need help, i dont know more what to do, i just want to use my 16gb memory module.

Things i already tried: Disable AbsolutePersistenceModule, PsbEnable, PhysicalPresenceForClear, SecureBoot; I changed the memory module so many times between the slots and with another modules i have, including no other module, just the 16gb and my pc didn’t initiated.

My pc specifications:
Ryzen 5 pro 4650ge
Motherboard: Lenovo 3190
Model: ThinkCentre m75q gen 2 11jk
Bios version: M3CKT3CA/1.0.0.60 (the most recent)
The other memory modules i tried (and it’s functional): 8gb 2667 MT/s (1333mhz), 4gb 2400MT/s
The memory module i want to put: 16gb 3200mhz (with XMP (the bios don’t support it, don’t have this option)) 1600mhz without XMP

I don’t see… “The 16gb module works ok, alone in the system
There’s no “easy” solution here, especially on a OEM branded system, a Lenovo business machine and even worse, an AMD platform. Usually, 2666Mhz is the standard frequency for these machines, then as everybody knows in this business, mixing modules its always problematic and we are compromising performance even if they work together…these are not retail motherboards, these are OEM systems that praise stability against OC/Performance.

EDIT: Whatever you want with it… the best performance is always a single dual-channel kit, in other words, only 2 identical modules… but no “speedy” modules for these kind of machines, few accept 3200Mhz… newer models mostly, this why we can find very accessible values for used RAM taken out of these systems, widely 2400/2666Mhz, not higher.

lenovo may have problems with dual rank modules

just sharing some info here

afaik you can in fact use 3200hz memory, it will just be throttled

there are users who are able to remove the throttling via some upgraded bios - don’t quote me on that, but check youtube
